Alarm & Sensor Pad Support
Troubleshooting, setup, and care instructions for your STOPEE alarm and sensor pad.
Remove the batteries from the device and place them back in to perform a hard reset. Make sure the pad's connecting cable is plugged into the device. Activate by pressing the power button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
Important: activate your software account first. The first online session explains how to work with the device.
If the device still won't turn on after these steps, please contact us.
In most cases, this is related to the pad rather than the alarm unit. First, increase sensitivity to level 7: (1) Disconnect the pad. (2) Remove and replace a battery to hard reset. (3) Long-press the tools button until you see red and green lights flashing. (4) Press the drop icon to increase sensitivity to level 7. (5) Wait 10 seconds for settings to save.
Then test the pad: connect it to the alarm, make sure holes face up. Place a very wet cloth between two wires at the center and apply strong pressure for a few seconds. If the alarm sounds, the pad works. Reset sensitivity before nighttime use.
If the alarm only triggers near the edge but not the center, there may be short circuits. Contact us at support@bedwettingtherapy.com for assistance.
The alarm can be activated by sweat, humidity, or incorrect placement. Try these steps:
Reduce sensitivity to level 3 or 2 (see the video demo in the software FAQ above your chart). Make sure the side with holes and wires faces up (plain side faces down). Note that removing batteries resets all settings.
If false alarms continue at level 2, place an extra pillowcase on top of the pad rather than lowering to level 1.
Also make sure you wash the pad every morning under running water with soap, as residue buildup can cause false triggers.
Make sure the alarm is turned off and unplugged. Press the settings button (to the right of the power button) until it starts blinking red and green. Press the drop button (top right). The number of tones tells you the current level (1-7). Level 4 is the default. Level 1 is lowest, 7 is most sensitive.
Press the button to cycle through levels. After 7 it returns to 1. Set your desired level and wait a few seconds for the device to save and shut down.
Turn the alarm off and unplug it. Press the settings button until it blinks red and green. Press the volume button (top left, speaker icon) to cycle through volume levels. For melody, press the music note button instead.
Wait 10 seconds for the device to save the new settings and shut down.
During the night, dry the pad thoroughly with a dry towel. Every morning after a wet night, rinse the pad under running water with soap. Make sure no water goes near the plug. Wipe both sides with a dry towel.
You can watch the cleaning video in the software FAQ section (how to operate the device).
To remove trapped liquid: (1) Wipe the pad with a dry, absorbent towel on both sides. (2) Roll the pad into a tube shape, like rolling a piece of paper. (3) Repeat in both directions a few times. This should push out any remaining moisture.
The green LED may have burned out. This light only indicates that the device is on. It does not affect any other function or the alarm's performance. As long as you hear the beep when turning on the alarm, it is perfectly fine to use.
